Meeting Minutes
June 28, 2006
Jared Tyler Contract-was received today. Jared is locked in and ready to go!
Opening Band Situation-Due to other conflicts, Red Eye Gravy had to withdraw. Kay is working diligently to fill this vacancy. Possibilities are Hayley Peck, Laura Lynn or the American Girlz.
Other Entertainment (Between Bands)-Suggestions included karate demonstration, kids dance team, other entertainment featuring kids.
Sound Equipment-Cody will approach Southern Cross Music about providing the monitors, which is the only thing that Clent and Lukasz do not have.
Recycling Activities-Rebekah will contact all of the local recycling centers.
Kids Activities-Recycling games, obstacle course, Army Reserves may bring out their rock wall.
Event Layout-Cody has the event area sketch, Steven will add the booths and other layout.
Signage/Banners-KAB sent banners, which we will have Copy Depot print removable letters on to serve as our banners. They will still look very nice.
Cars-Morris Auto Sales will bring out a compressed natural gas car, Kay will approach other local car dealers.
Publicity-the next release will hit papers the day before the event, Kay and Cody will do a radio interview with KOKL, KOTV is running the event on their radio broadcast and we are on many event calendars.
Volunteers-Marci will round up volunteers from the club.
Sponsors-Sponsors are coming in steadily, due to quick turn-around time, a full list will make the banner.
Other Booths-Marci will remind clubs at Roundtable.
Thank You Cards-Everyone will sign, Kay will write and mail.
