Meeting Minutes
April 3, 2006
ttendees were Marci Lyn Hardesty, John Teeples, James Thye, Rebekah Hogue, Kay Thompson, Cristy Clifford, Lukasz Jarochowski, Bruce Force and Steven Rubert
Halfway Recap-we have almost reached the 3-Star level, will have completed it by the end of the semester. We are way ahead of last year.
Concert Recap-$1,000 in sponsorships was raised, half to PTK, half to KAB. Everyone did a great job, special thanks to Kay for chairing the successful event.
Luau Recap-we had enough people to qualify for points and did so.
East Central Electric Recap-Kay, Marci and Rebekah ran the booth which made $35. There were a few things that hurt us such as another nacho vendor, and the drinks next to us were sold for 25 cents.
Meeting with the President-Thursday, August 10, 2:30 p.m. Marci, Rebekah, Kay, John and Lukasz will attend. Possibly Cody and Clent as well.
Campus Trash Clean-up-PTK will pick up trash on campus on Monday, July 31st, at 12:30pm. Anyone who can help out should come to Covelle Hall to pick up gloves and supplies.
Lion King Movie Night-Marci will chair along with John's help.
Leadership Development Programs (Part of Leadership Hallmark)-Applications to REBEL, Leaders for Life and PETE U were passed out. Hopefully several participants will come from PTK.
Cookout-Has been postponed indefinitely, Kay and Rebekah will chair a movie fellowship event in the coming weeks.
Reading to Children-Rebekah will set up for the fall semester.
New T-Shirts-Kay will coordinate new shirt designs and present them at a future meeting.
Vote to Repay Bruce Food Costs-John motioned, Lukasz seconded, all approved
Vote to Repay Marci for Guitar Costs-Kay motioned, Rebekah seconded, all approved
Vote to Pay KAB-Rebekah motioned, Marcy seconded, all approved
Other Business-Come prepared to discuss a meeting day and time for the fall semester. Also Keep Cowboy Connection in mind (Sept. 4) as we get closer.
